I have called my fellow board members for help. The question I am pondering has been the biggest question of all when it comes to collecting figures. I have the funds and the resources to make only on decision so please do not say do both.
And the question I'm seeking the answer to is as follows:
20" Lord of Darkness or 14" Action Cape Batman. Here is some more info to persuae you as well. For the 20" Lord of Darkness i have found him at a Canadian retailer for a fair price. however the 14" Batman is on a site that i have never delt with. However has good reviews, and seems to be the only place to get this 14" figure. Please help.

the darkness is out already? Well, I like the charcter but not the movie. I'm into Batman more anyway and if he looks good enough, then him I guess.

I'm partial to the 20" Lord of Darkness figure but I can't bring myself to pay the price for it. I'm wondering if the face looks any different (in person) from the photos?

He probably saw the McFarlane LOD. The 20" one isn't even out until the end of Summer.

http://board.mezco.net/images/icons/icon14.gif Lord of Darkness by far! He has very intricate detail all over (unless that's a 2-up prototype pictured).
http://board.mezco.net/images/icons/icon13.gif Batman just looks like a basic sculpt that you'd find on a smaller scale Batman action figure that kiddies buy at Wal-Mart.
Lord of Darkness! I've never been a fan of Batman.. I'm not into figures much either, but that Lord Of Darkness fricken rocks!

Although, I like the Batman character-the figure line for the new flick blows. IMO. No offense, but the Batman doesn't really look like much. There have been many better plastic incarnations of good ol' bats. I gotta go with the Lord of Darkness. He is visually stunning, and really grabs your attention.

Well, that didn't come too good, although it is awkwardly posed  ...LoD if you can afford it. I'll have to wait til I see Batman when it hits stores.
