Hopefully with continued good news on the Sci-Fi chanel series there might soon be a chance to get figures from the series. Even if it was only one series with four or five figures we would get all we need (Mr. Head, Mr. Groin, Zombie Emporer, Dr. Snap, Head's dog, the Vampire chick). Throw in an Abbraham Lincoln figure for an excusive.

Maybe if we're lucky, Mez will make these sucka's if the Sci Fi series does well? Afterall...if Mignola's developing a series of different bodies for the show, then how could any toy maker resist a boxed set of like...4 bodies and 1 head to share between them? That'd be awesome...

But at the end of the day, all I want is Emperor Zombie. He's spiffy.

Consider me triple-signed for this concept! Actually, I'm behind most concepts that use Mike Mignola's illustrations and attempt to faithfully adapt them into action figures (ala' the Hellboy comic line). :D

How fortitious! I was thinking this very thing last night before even having scene this thread! I would utterly LOVE to see a Mezco interrupted set of Amazing Screw-on Head figures.

The only problem I foresee is that this was only one comic book folks. One comic that Mike currently has no plans of doing a sequel to. Sci-Fi Channel series or no, if it's going to be based on a comic book style (which I would sincerely hope it would be), I would think it would need more than one HTF comic as it's basis.

Sincerely I hope I'm wrong though, as I'd love to see a series of figures based on these strange but unique characters. :)

That's your ONLY problem? Have you seen most of the original programing on the Sci-Fi channel? Its like mid 90's FOX with even less production budget... http://board.mezco.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

If we don't get a whole line we should at least get a Screw-On-Head with two different bodies. One could be the robot in tux look from the cover and the other could be the robot body with the spade on the chest. C'mon Mez you know you wanna make em. Pretty Please?

It's been a while since I've seen this in here, so I'm bringing it back. I think "Screw-On" could make a kick-ass exclusive for next year's Comic Con. He's practically the first B.P.R.D. agent anyway...let's make it happen, please Mez!

During the "Twilight Zone" weekend, I saw a commercial for Sci Fi channels upcoming show's (and their website), which had about 2 seconds of ASoH screwing his head into something. I swear I saw it....am I nuts, or did anyone else see this commercial? The clip was in a bubble....yes, a bubble.

Am I nuts?

Oh...and...I think I'm officially triple signed for this idea, now. C'mon Mez....even as a comic con exclusive next year...it'd be prime pickin's.

Hey Guys.... Ladies,
SciFi Channel's website shows that there will be an online survey that will help determine the show's fate of the series after the pilot.

Here's the link, http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire/index.php?category=2&id=36963

and below is what it says there if you don't wanna click.

SCI FI Pulse (http://www.scifi.com/pulse/), SCIFI.COM's broadband channel, will premiere two original programs, the animated Amazing Screw-On Head and Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, on July 13, two weeks before the shows debut on SCI FI Channel. SCI FI Pulse viewers will have the chance to affect the future of the Amazing Screw-On Head, based on Mike Mignola's comic book, the channel said.

"Amazing Screw-On Head features the voices of Paul Giamatti, David Hyde Pierce and Molly Shannon in a story about a robot secret agent (Giamatti) working for the U.S. government under President Lincoln. After watching the pilot of Amazing Screw-On Head, SCI FI Pulse viewers will be asked to fill out an online survey crafted by the NBC Universal research department. The results of the online survey will help SCI FI executives decide whether or not to green-light the pilot to series. Produced by Kickstart Productions, the pilot was written by Bryan Fuller (Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls). Fuller and Jason Netter serve as executive producers, with Mignola as art director. Chris Prynoski directs."

So, that means we can see it in like, three days right?

Oh, and signed.
