Comic Hellboy Series 2 poll

Here it is people. Let's hear what you would like from a second series.

(It's implied that we will probably get a Hellboy with every wave.)

The HB fig in every wave thing doesn't sound so bad-as long as we don't start seeing rediculous HB incarnations that only exist to sell another HB figure. You know, like "Deep Sea Diver Hellboy" or any other stupid flourescent colored accessory laden HB. Don't get me wrong, I seriously doubt that the good comic lovin' folks at Mezco would do anything like this. I just hate to see perfectly good toy lines lead astray by laughably worthless character incarnations.

I hope that is the version of Liz that we get. Personally, I think that the first versions of each character should be their classic comic book likenesses. Much like the awesome looking HB and Lobster figure prototypes we have seen. I can't say it enough-this line is gonna make you cream your jeans. :D

Well, we're already getting Lobster Johnson, and he was top of my wish list. I really want a full BPRD field team before a slew of monsters. Kate, Abe, Liz, Roger, and Johann are all frontrunners for me personally.

Johann Kraus is my second favorite character of the entire BPRD/Hellboy series, so I gotta go with him.

I can honestly say that I would buy each and every character that has been seen in the book. I gotta agree about Johann (but I love all the B.P.R.D. characters). Benjamin Daimio is really starting to grow on me also.

I'll be happy with any lineup for Series 2 probably. But I would most want a Frog-Man & Roger in there. Johann would be a great choice too. But my guess is that Abe will be in Series 2, and we won't get Roger, Johann, & Abe all in one series.

Okay, I'm going to call it. Here's my official guess for Series 2:

Why?

Abe, the closest to a sure thing, is the requisite "guy who was in the Movie Line." Don't expect more than one of these per series. This is the reason I'm discounting the Frog-Monster--as much as I want him, he's too similar to Sammael.

Johann--originally I thought Roger, but I think Roger will headline series 3.

Ilsa Haupstein--not sure why, really. I just think she'll be there. Here's hoping she comes with the Maiden of Joo.

Trevor Bruttenholm--this one was the hardest call to make. I almost went with the Baba Yaga, but I can't seem them putting two female figures in the same line (though Baba may appear in the place of Ilsa). Trevor, like Liz, would be the series's "character everyone wanted in the movie line but didn't get."

And finally, a possible Hellboy variant--either "Hellboy with Trenchcoat" or "Shirtless Hellboy"...whichever one we don't get in series 1 (unless, of course, we get both).
