Is there any chance of the MezcoDirect store offering free shipping to Club Mez members? If so, that would be the absolute best feature of joining. If not,......
"weeeeeaaaak!"

Thanks for your response Ripper. Why even bother with the Direct store when everything they offer can be found at lower prices online, and in person? I understand on huge orders some shipping cost should be required, but one or two figures-give me a break. The mark up alone should cover the shipping. I know there is a good reason, but it escapes me. How do other sites/stores offer Mezco's products at much better prices. Please don't tell me that it is because they order "in bulk"-because, that is not always the case. (no pun intended) Don't get me wrong-I think Mezco is the shiite, but as with anything it is human nature to find fault with even the most seemingly perfect of things. I'm not whining, just asking........:)

I agree, thats why I don't order off the net unless, I have to.

I order online all the time, but the store's prices for shipping do seem a bit high...

I believe Mezco maintains a higher price so as not to undercut their customers, i.e. the stores that buy their product. I think this is a common practice among companies that sell their product direct to the consumer -- they don't want to compete with retailers and piss them off!

Stores like Mezcodirect are a service to those who don't know (or care to find) where to buy Mezco stuff, as well as a place to sell other old stuff that they can't sell to retailers.

I agree with the thread title, though -- free shipping for Club members at the direct store would be a great added benefit for joining. There aren't many new exclusives available in the club, none of which I have found an interest in (I've only ordered the 2 SDCC HBs), and it would be a nice nod to the members. Palisades does this, and as a CC member I really appreciate it.

I do understand that thought, but personally I have no problem with the shipping only being free on ClubMez purchases and not the regular store as well. They'd take a bath on shipping if Club members were able to load up on $200+ worth of LDDs (something bulky as an example), and then expect to get the whole kaboodle shipped free. And to be able to do that on every purchase, forever?

Maybe they could give out a code/coupon with each membership kit good for free shipping on any 1 non-Club order, no matter what the cost. And you'd still get free shipping on all Club orders.

JMO. :)
