Jesus Christ, can you guys just spam in Off Topic? I'm starting to get pissed when I see that this has been updated, and I see some bull**** spam.
I do have to agree with that. I've been bothered by all the "filler"/useless posts in this thread from day one, and have mentioned it repeatedly to no avail. Shooting the sh!t posts are fine, but not in this particular thread (IMO). I don't even bother coming into this thread on a regular basis anymore because of it. I've always thought the idea behind this thread was GREAT, but not if I have to scroll through 3 pages of "filler"/useless posts just to find some actual information. Alas.... :(

HELLBOY JUNIOR mini-maquette!

From the fires of Hell and based on the warped mind of artist Bill Wray, Electric Tiki Design presents HELLBOY JUNIOR. Based on Mike Mignola's comci character Hellboy, "Junior" was created as a irreverent homage to classic Harvey comics. Electric Tiki's Hellboy Junior mini-maquette depicts our favorite "little demon" standing atop a rock base (with hell fire creeping through), complete with pewter spear. Based on designs by Bill Wray and sculpted by Ruben Procopio, this very exclusive mini-maquette will be sold at the San Diego Comic-Con (July 14-17) and through www.electrictiki.com. This approximately 6" tall statue will be limited to 500 pieces and will retail for $45.

Gandalf the Grey
You shall not pass! You shall not collect $200! You shall go directly to jail unless you purchase the Gandalf the Grey 18" Action Figure w/Motion Activated Sound upon it's release. Don't make us raise our staff and sword at you! Actually, once you see the pictures below of this massive "talking" wizard from the Lord of the Rings trilogy, I seriously doubt we will have to use any force to make you want to own it. Speaking of owning it, you'll get your chance later this Summer, so start looking for him on shelves this July/August. Want to know what he says?

Expect to hear the following phrases:
"You shall not pass!"
"There is only one lord of the ring. Only one who can bend it to his will,
and he does not share power."

NECA sends us this press release to announce that they have secured the license to produce figures based on Nintendo Gamecube videogame: Resident Evil 4...

NECA, the National Entertainment Collectibles Association, today announced a new licensing agreement with Capcom® to create action figures based on characters from the hit survival horror videogame, Resident Evil® 4. Now available for the Nintendo GameCube, Resident Evil 4 sees the return of a familiar hero on a mission of the highest level. The Resident Evil series has sold more than 26 million units worldwide.

“Capcom is pleased to work with NECA, a market leading action figure maker that truly understands the horror genre," stated Hiroshi Tobisawa, president, Capcom Entertainment. "We look forward to seeing the characters from our highly acclaimed Resident Evil 4 game come to life as NECA unveils the first series of these figures.”

“It is an incredible honor to be chosen by Capcom to create a line of figures representing the definitive horror game. Capcom has created a game that has blurred the lines between cinema and gaming. We are very fortunate to work with our generation's theatrical visionaries, and we feel that this opportunity bolsters our lineup of products. We look forward to creating a 3-D toy universe
worthy of their brilliance,” said NECA President, Joel Weinshanker.

The first prototypes of the Resident Evil 4 action figures will be on display in a showcase at the Capcom booth at the 11th annual Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles from May 18 to May 20. The first series of action figures is expected to hit shelves in November. - I hope we get and 18" Action Figure.

Good news: Buffy Library Playset!
Bad News: It will be $60.
Sort of Justifying It News: ]The highly-detailed Library Playset features a split-level design based on the Library’s blueprints. In addition to the intricate railings and banisters, the Library also includes a clear window embedded in the wall and several movable bookcases. Fans and collectors will be able to add their own accessories to the Library shelves and table in addition to the included globe, candlesticks, bottle and plants, allowing for a customized interactive display. In scale with the past 6” Buffy and Angel action figures, the Library Playset stands an impressive 12” tall and a massive 20” wide, providing plenty of room to display over 15 action figures!

The Ripper
06-27-2005, 10:20 PM
Yea the bride figure looks a little screwed up.

annalenore
06-27-2005, 10:25 PM
i think the Bride looks ok in that pic but i haven't seen her in person yet. i think Bill looks pretty great but i'll probably only be buying Pai Mei, if only for the novelty.

NECA really needs to shape up in the female face sculpting department, though. i bought Go Go just for the sake of owning her and she's sooooo horrible. everything but her head is fantastic, it drives me nuts. they screwed up all the chicks in the Sin City line, both series, as well. i really wanted a Miho but from what i've seen she's as butchered as Go Go (and what's up with replacing BOTH Kevins' glasses with clear?? the whited out lenses was the best part and now i'm angry and don't want him at all). well, Gail turned out ok i guess, i actually considered buying her because of her accessory and non-hideous face. O-ren was the only female sculpt that really did the character justice and it was scrapped because Lucy Liu is an ignorant bitch.

sorry....NECA really pissed me off today when i noticed they had changed b&w Kevin's lenses. i think they're doing great for the most part but it's details that make me crazy. i'm still insanely excited for the release of the Tiny figure from the 1000 Corpses/Devil's Rejects line, though (but Baby still looks like ****). http://board.mezco.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y255/Fonyblony/IMG_3998.jpg

Neca will be producing a Boxed set of Marv is the Electric Chair, and there were also a few suprises. A few more of Kevin's accessories were revealed.

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y255/Fonyblony/IMG_3997.jpg

And you may also notice the figure next to him that is Neca's 18" Yellow Bastard figure I would imagine to go with the 18" Hartigan.

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y255/Fonyblony/IMG_4000.jpg

And Marv with Kevin's Head. Also (below) a sculpt of Elle was on display for series 2 of Neca's Kill Bill

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y255/Fonyblony/IMG_3994.jpg

Another RE4 figure was also on display.

On Figures.com, there's a proto of The Bride.

Now, I might be seeing things, but I think I spotted ball-jointed elbows.

Oh, and I can't wait to see the 18" TYB. And Kevin looks bad with the hammer. And both of those Marvs are awesome.

I reeeeeeally hope they don't screw Bill and Leon Kennedy up. NECA has been really hit or miss lately. For example, Manute is probably the best sculpted figure in my collection, and all of Sin City is awesome. Likewise, Hitchiker's Guide and Patrick Bateman were TERRIBLE.

Okay so I figured that I would do and update regarding the new line of figures coming from mattel reperesenting the DC comics franchise. That would be the DC Superheros line. Now I saw these in person and they are amazing. Now they had proto-types on display and they also had figures that have already been out for some time. Such as the super articulated batman released in the UK. This was to give you an idea of what the articulation will be like. The figures will looking nothing like that. Because the sculpts will be done by the four horseman. The detail that went into some of the figures and bases are amazing. I must say that I was really impressed with Bane and Bizzaro the most. The detail in them is awesome and so is the articulation. Batman and the others in the line are great as well. Here are some pics from the various toy news websites. I show you these because the camera that had my close-ups was stolen.

This opens many doors for mattel. Especially when it comes to the newer licenses they have aquired such as the superman movie figures.

In a jaw dropping moment for horror fans around the world, SOTA revealed their massive Pumpkinhead Blockbuster figure at San Diego Comic Con this past July...

Pumpkinhead...born of vengence..feuled by hatred...out for your blood! In Pumpkinhead, actor Lance Henriksen ressurects a demon of vengence to destroy the accidental murderers of his only son. Everything comes with a price, as Lance finds out when he feels the pain of each of Pumpkinhead's victims.

This Now Playing Blockbuster figure is the second in the line (following Darkness from Legend). He's said to measure 21 inches tall, complete with a bendy tail. While Darkness will come with a sound chip, there is no word yet as to if this will be the case with PH, as he's not a big noise maker in the film. Look for Pumpkinhead in 2006.

Even the most hardened heroes have to cash out at some point, but it's how they buy it that counts. Our first and final stop today is Death Row at the Basin City correctional facility. If you peek your head in you will see that Marv is strapped in his chair ready to die. Not exactly the happiest thing you could see, but if you look at his face, you know that he wouldn't really have it any other way. In his mind, he's already won anyhow. Pretty much everything you would see there would be something you would never want to forget. NECA/Reel toys realized this, and thus we are making it impossible for you to forget. Enter: Death Row Marv.
A deluxe figure with special action features, this Marv is a step above and beyond anything like it you have ever seen before. Flick the switch and he says the first line, "Get a move on, I haven't got all night!" He gets the juice as he vibrates and shakes, and inside his head his skull lights up with a blue light as the electricity courses into his body. The vibration stops and he says "Is that the best you can do, you pansies?"
Beyond the action features, Marv comes with 3 interchangeable heads of different styles: Regular, Spicy, and Extra Crispy. I'm sorry, it's close to lunchtime for me. He really comes with Regular, Regular w/ skull inside, and Burned (crispy!) heads for after you give him the life ending jolt. After all is said and done, expect to find Death Row Marv in the stores at the end of this year, to coincide with a planned Director's Cut Edition DVD of the Sin City movie. Stay tuned for more pictures on the final piece, including the alternate heads, and some video of the figure in action! http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y255/Fonyblony/page-2992.jpg

<TABLE style="TABLE-LAYOUT: fixed" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=5 width="100%"><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top width="85%" height="100%">Elkridge, MD (September 7, 2005) – The clock is counting down to the Inaugural Wizard World Boston convention, where Palisades Toys – never one to disappoint on the exclusives score – will be showcasing two brand new products for sale.

Sesame Street: Oscar the Grouch Unpainted Test Shot
He lives in a garbage can, and his favorite thing is the world is trash. He’s Oscar the Grouch, Sesame Street’s lovable curmudgeon… and he’s coming to Boston. That’s right – Wizard World Beantown will be your first opportunity to get ahold of an exclusive Preview figure from Palisades’ soon-to-be-released first wave of Sesame Street action figures.

This Unpainted Test Shot of Oscar the Grouch will feature all of the detail of the upcoming Series 1 release… just with no paint. And since quantities are limited, this is one Grouch that you certainly won’t want to throw in the trash. Strictly limited to 999 pieces, and with a price of only $15 each, Oscar is expected to move fast.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force: “The Incredible Plum” Meatwad
The Aqua Teen Hunger Force episode “The Shaving” features a not-so-scary, onion-bodied-spider monster named Willie Nelson, Shake electrocuting himself while trying to “scare” Carl, and numerous hysterical suggestions for Meatwad’s Halloween costume. But one of the funniest moments, in an episode chock full of hilarity, is the image of Meatwad dressed as “The Incredible Plum,” and wearing a Richard Nixon mask.

Never one to shy away from a side-splitting exclusive concept, Palisades Toys presents Meatwad from “The Shaving,” complete with his purple body and a removable Richard Nixon mask. Just in time for Halloween, be sure to grab your exclusive Meatwad figure at Wizard World Boston. Each Meatwad figure will retail for $10 apiece at the show, and to members of the Palisades Toys Collectors Club.

Products are limited and will sell out quickly; there are no guarantees of availability, and customers will be served on a first-come, first-serve basis. Both the Oscar the Grouch Unpainted Test Shot and “The Incredible Plum” Meatwad exclusives will be shared between Wizard World Boston and Wizard World Dallas. The Premium Format Seven of Nine figure represents Star Trek's most famous borg in 1/4 Scale, a the perfect blend of sculpture and fabric clothing. Seven of Nine was sculpted by Oluf Hartvigson, and the clothing was expertly tailored by Greg Mowry of Geppetto Productions. Together with the Sideshow Creative team, these artists studied Seven's deceptively simple costume, and have meticulously reproduced every detail. The corset structure is present on the sculpture, visible through the uniform, along with every borg implant remaining on this Voyager beauty. The figure is cast in heavy-weight polystone, and is complete with a Star Trek: Voyager insignia styled base, and each base bottom is printed with the edition size info.

Fabrication: Greg Mowry of Geppetto Productions

Everyone's favorite Buffy vampiress coming soon...

Sideshow Toys brings Buffy: The Vampire Slayer fans their favorite vampiress: Darla. Turned into a vampire in 1607, Darla earned her reputation as one of the strongest members of the brutal Aurelius vampire line and sired Angelus (aka Angel) to be her lover and companion in 1753. Together, Darla and Angelus let loose their particularly sadistic brand of torture all across Europe for more than a century.

Apparently, Bill is the man. When have you or I had two hot 6 foot tall blonde women fighting over us? Not any time in recent memory, I'd imagine. Well, they may not have been really fighting over their love for Bill, but make no mistake, that is one quality they did share at one time. Nothing says "I love you" like the swift slice of a katana blade through your lover's enemy. Beatrix has many other reasons why she's fighting, the first of which is revenge. Here is a look at the Beatrix and Elle figures in Kill Bill Series 2. Look below for a picture of them on their connecting bases!

Beatrix Kiddo
AKA The Bride
AKA Black Mamba
Former Member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad.
Former lover of Bill and mother to his unborn child.
Upon learning she was pregnant the Bride left her life as an assassin for a fresh start. She was tracked down by Bill and left for dead at The Two Pines Wedding Chapel. After awakening from her coma The Bride seeks revenge on her former squad. She will make them pay.

Elle Driver
AKA California Mountain Snake
Member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad
A cruel and heartless bounty hunter and Bill's current lover. Incredibly jealous of the relationship the Bride and Bill once shared, Elle was trained by Pai Mei and ultimately poisoned him to death revealing how evil and treacherous a foe she really is.

First 2 movie properties announced: T-shirts and action figures!

In exclusive news today, NECA informs us that they have been awarded the license by New Line Cinema to produce collectibles based on the 1979 apocalyptic horror classic George A. Romero’s Dawn of the Dead (see George Romero's DAWN OF THE DEAD License Up for Grabs).

http://www.figures.com/databases/redirect1.cgi?dom=fig&sys=news&action-exp&sponsor=cmdstore_TF05_07_27_2005_436x216&size=art&url=www.figures.com/sponsors/images2/cmdstore_TF05_07_27_2005_436x216.jpg

Announced licensed product includes T-shirts (SRP of $14-$19.99. Release date to be decided.) and action figures. "Flyboy", pictured top as an early sculpt in progress, is the first confirmed figure. Look for him to join NECA's Cult Classics line sometime in 2006.

Expect more images of "Flyboy" - along with the debut of a second surprise "Dawn of the Dead" character - as the New York Fall Toy Fair approaches. Stay tuned.

The Yellow Bastard is an unforgettable disgusting figure of a purely vile nature. It's only to be expected, as he is the son of a politician, however he still manages to visually surpass the obviously odious lineage he is part of. With someone so malignant, anyone who was already of a positive nature that could have stood before him is then lifted to an even higher status of heroism. However, grand heroes always get grand recognition where sometimes the villains, rife with so much character, need grander representation. That's where the Yellow Bastard and Hartigan 2 Pack comes in.
Featuring a brand new sculpt for the Yellow Bastard, Roarke Junior himself comes this time fully clothed. That's a breath of fresh air for most of us, since we all know how grotesque this medical abomination looks disrobed. Anyhow, here is a look at the progress of the 2nd Yellow Bastard Action Figure that is part of the 2 Pack with Hartigan. Notice these are production photos of which some even include corrections that were feedback to the sculptor for changes that were deemed necessary to get this figure right by every exacting detail, as you can compare to the original reference photo. Enjoy, and even though I know this guy is more than just one shade of yellow ugly, try not to throw up on your feet. You'll need those shoes when you go to the store to get this cool set when they hit stores in early November.

"It's rare that we offer products by other companies, but we simply loved this piece and wanted to share it with our collectors. Brom is one of Sideshow's favorite artists, and we are pleased to have a small number of his statues to offer to you."
The mystical Soul Forge is brought to life in this beautiful hand-painted polystone statue, based on the artwork of the famed illustrator Brom. Sculpted by Yuji Oniki and produced by Fewture Models, this unique collectible statue perfectly captures Brom's visionary style.

The goddess is responsible for handing out souls which have been made in the forge. Her body is encased in a bronze carapace, while her six arms remain free. She holds two knives in her lower arms, a ball and pyramid in her middle arms, and with her raised hands she gestures toward the orb above her head, in which a haunting portrait has been captured. The goddess is suspended on a dramatic metal cross which stands approx 12" tall, with arms outstretched to a full 7".

Each statue includes 3 pairs of ball and pyramid accessories, in blue, gold and red, so that you may choose how to display your Soul Forge statue. Each piece is complete with an 8" x 11.5" color print, signed by Brom. Don't miss this the chance to add this unique high quality collectible to you collection!

- Lovecraft is definately delayed... My feeling is I should delay it until next halloween..though I dont have to. It could easily be ready for April if I wanted. I just wonder if i should wait.

- I certainly hope to do 2 lines of LOTD. I think it can easily handle it and I know retail is buzzing about it. They keep calling us to tell us. And yes, I do want to do some humans

- Bases for SAW and The Fog... the SAW base was difficult to come up with but I think it came out pretty cool. Having said that its simple because he also comes with the puppet on the bike. The Fog base though.. whoa..look out.. this thing is amazing... I guarantee people are going to want this figure even if they hate the movie just for the base. But you wont see either for a few more months.

- I got me a giant Darkness sitting here and it talks ! " I am the Lord Of Darkness".. plus 4 others.... Way cool.. Its exciting to make our first electronic figure. This thing is HUGE.

- finally... I keep getting emails and phone calls about how SOTA is "going out of business and we've lost all our licenses"... its sad how people have nothing better to do than spread rumors... In case you hear, yes, we did lay a couple people off the other day. But its not because we're going out of business..its because we really didnt have anything for them to do as we're way ahead of ourselves in the sculpting process. Thats harsh but its business.

Fridays are usually a great end to your work week and usually you get to go have fun for 3 days. Every other Friday, you can usually expect the end of a pay period, and get a nice little check for your hard work. Friday can also be the end of your life. Friday and "die day" do rhyme, after all. On Friday the 13th, a day said to be filled with bad luck and evil things, is even more exceptionally death encrusted than a normal Friday. Ask Pamela and Jason Voorhees what they think about Friday the 13th, and you will probably get your answer with a sharp object to the head. At least its clear cut and to the point. Get it? Anyhow, here is a look at the Friday the 13th 25th Anniversary Boxed Set in all of its packaged glory.

When you absolutely, positively have to kill a zombie...

First 4 Figures will be recreating and releasing the signature weapon featured in the upcoming video game action film Doom in early 2006.
Fans of the game will forever remember the BFG, and though they may never fully agreed on what those three little letters stand for, everyone will agree - when you absolutely, positively have to finish the job and kill some Imps, Pinkies, Demons, and Zombies - you grab the Bio Force Gun or the Big Fraggin' Gun or the...well...the list goes on and on...

Pre-orders for the 12" long mini replica will begin on October 15.

Price and production numbers are TBD.

(Prototype images above. Final product subject to change).

I'm still waiting to see the 6" - 18" figures we were promised.

Sideshow Toy has announced the newest licenses to join their ever growing 1:1 Scale Bust Collection, in the form of Universal Monsters and Marvel Comics...

FEARSOME AND HEROIC CHARACTERS
They are the most fearsome and heroic characters from the realms of fantasy, sci-fi, and horror. Their legacies span generations of entertainment history. Their infamous portraits beg for full-scale, three-dimensional treatment from the world's best artists.

A CHALLENGE WORTH TAKING...
Some may be intimidated by the quality demands of life-size busts, which must withstand the intense scrutiny of the naked eye at full scale, but Sideshow Collectibles' artists feel liberated to pack extra detail into the sculpture, paint, and clothing. For when make-believe characters achieve real world dimensions, they come alive.

Darth Maul's Highly Detailed Teeth
Standing next to the Darth Maul 1:1 Scale Bust can trick the observer into almost believing that if his finger gets just a little too close, Maul and his wicked teeth just might bite it off. The closer a collectible from the world of make-believe gets to the size of its professed dimensions in the real world, the more it seems to come alive to both our eyes and our brains. Maul, crafted by effects studio Spectral Motion, was realistic enough to hold up beautifully at the 2005 San Diego International Comic-Con when side-by-side with actor Ray Park, who played the character in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.

NOT JUST FOR RE-CREATION USE...
Occasionally our life-size busts aren't recreations at all. For example, the original sculpt of our Hellboy 1:1 Scale Bust was the actual study model created by effects artist Matt Rose and used by director Guillermo del Toro to transform actor Ron Perlman into "Big Red", further blurring the lines between artwork, effects work, and life-size product.

THE LINE-UP EXPANDS...
As interest in the tantalizing line-up of high quality life-size busts expands, Sideshow will continue to explore new frontiers with a variety fan-favorite characters. Sideshow is pleased to announce the newest licenses to join our growing 1:1 Scale Bust Collection - Universal Monsters and Marvel Comics. First up in the Universal Monster line will be Boris Karloff's Ardeth Bey from 1932's The Mummy, and kicking off the Marvel Comics life-sized offerings will be a comic book version of The Thing. From the rich textiles used for Ardeth Bey's traditional Egyptian clothing, to The Thing's solid faux-stone exterior, each 1:1 bust captures the spirit and likeness of the character, and allows the artists to create the ideal presentation for each. Keep an eye on SideshowCollectibles.com in the coming weeks for pre-order opportunities for both of these breathtaking new museum quality collectibles.

ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES
With multiple fictional universes and galaxies far, far away at our disposal, Sideshow Collectibles has almost endless possibilities to present collectibles in this life-size format. Add the original sculptors and studios - such as Miles Teves, Matt Rose and Spectral Motion - lending their knowledge and talents to the mix, and the Sideshow Collectibles 1:1 Bust Collection presents the ultimate in detail, collectibility and presentation; so real they can bite - almost

Beware the terrors unleashed from hell through acts of revenge. Such is the premise of the cult horror classic, Pumpkinhead. The directorial debut of visual effects legend Stan Winston, Pumpkinhead is the nickname of an unstoppable vengeance demon summoned by an anguished father (played by Lance Henriksen) intent on exacting justice on the group of city teenagers that accidentally took the life of his young son. Raised from the depths of hell, Pumpkinhead sets out on a lethal hunt to find each one of those teenagers, making each of them pay the price for their recklessness, each facing a horrible death at the hands of the bloodthirsty demon. Gruesomely unique in both design and execution, Pumpkinhead is a true modern horror creature classic.

Fifteen years after he debuted in theaters, Sideshow Collectibles and Stan Winston Studios bring Pumpkinhead to life again with the definitive collectible sculpture of the film's demonic main character. Artists at Stan Winston Studio have scanned the full-size original to approximately 1:4 scale to create the detailed and authentic Pumpkinhead maquette.

Pumpkinhead stands menacingly at 27.5" atop a detailed environmental display base, as the demon treads through a patch of rotten pumpkins and vines.

The creation of the Pumpkinhead Maquette was overseen by Stan Winston Studio's creative director, John Rosengrant. Stan Winston saw the project as an opportunity to capture the essence of the creature, and the spirit of the original design, and worked closely with John to achieve the ultimate in sculpture and design. Stan Winston's team has created the definitive take on the monster, something that was simply not possible with the films original budget. Pumpkinhead remains one of Stan Winston's favorite projects, and a truly important part of his film history. Stan Winston and Sideshow Collectibles are proud to offer horror aficionados the opportunity to add the truly authentic Pumpkinhead Maquette to their collections.

An 18" Motion Activated figure of Muhammed Ali will be out sometime next febuary from NECA. And here is a look further into whats happening with NECA.
Highlander, Dawn of the Dead, Seed of Chucky, and more…
With Cult Classics Series 1 in stores and Series 2 shipping now, film fans are eagerly anticipating the third series of NECA’s classic cult film figures.
Here at the Fall Toy Show 2005, NECA had prototypes of some of the figures in Cult Classics Series 3, which will include Flyboy Zombie from the original “Dawn of the Dead”, Bubba Ho-Tep Mummy from “Bubba Ho-Tep”, Endoskeleton from “Terminator 2” (with new, improved “chrome” paint application), and John McClane from Die Hard.
Cult Classics Series 3 will also included a Highlander boxed set, which will include both medieval Connor McCloud and the Kurgan.
Cult Classics Series 4 is tentatively slated to include Chucky from “Child’s Play”, Elvis (Bruce Campbell) from “Bubbo Ho-Tep”, Plaid Zombie from the original “Dawn of the Dead”, and a boxed set from ”Seed of Chucky” which will include Chucky, Tiffany, & Glen/Glenda.
NECA also mentioned the upcoming 12” Frank the Bunny figure from the film ”Donnie Darko”, which will speak a few key phrases from the movie. Its still in debate as to weather or not NECA will bump the scale to 18". As well an 18" John McClane w/ "R-Rated" voice chip, a possible re-release of the 18” T-800 Endoskeleton with an updated chrome paint application (thanks to fans’ responses), and a possible 18” Medieval Kurgan from Highlander.
Check out the image gallery below for more photos of Cult Classics Series 3 and keep checking back for more news and information on future NECA figures.
As well Mezco will be doing their own in-house zombie line. (I saw protos and damn the fans are lucky.)
The In-house zombie line will soon feed the masses…
Tentatively titled Afterlife (aka: Flesh Eaters), this line of walking dead debuted with three figures. Though no photography was allowed, the prototypes on hand included a bloated male zombie with his intestines protruding out, an emaciated scar-covered male zombie, and a seductive female zombie crouching on her knees in a pool of blood gnawing on a human victim’s torso.
Numerous accessories (body parts) and alternate heads (likely to be used as chase figures aka: Hellboy style) for all three were also on display.
