We are working on getting the new board all set. There are lots of things on Mike’s to do list & he is working on tem & doing an excellent job I might ad. The new board has lots of options & it needs to be learned & fixed. We are also hooking up a new server. For these reasons things might not be 100% smooth for a few weeks (we hope shorter but ya never know- technology's a bitch ya don’t want to piss off :) ). Anyway you LDD members will see that we have got the LDD section started, this was part of the to do list Mike has. There will be much more & once this board is finished I promise you it will be fantastic. Thx for your patience while we get things straight & welcome to our new board.

You guys might want to look into activating the feature that makes it show in the User CP who leaves rep points. On another board I visit like this one the negative rep slinging got out of control when people weren't "tied to it"/didn't have to own up to the comments they were leaving. Not saying that will/would happen here, but....

There is a feature somewhere you guys can activate that will automatically put the person's board name next to the rep they leave (even if they just check pos/neg with no comment). Pre-emptive problem solving if you will. ;)

I've rep'd you Ripper. It was before I realized it wasn't automatically showing people's names so I didn't "sign" it. I rep'd 2 or 3 people before I realized that. Now I'm "signing" all my rep comments so people know where it came from. :)

Even though the majority of the people on this board don't seem to care about the "rep system" and aren't really using it, I still think it would be a good idea to activate the feature that automatically tells people which user the rep/comment came from. Like I said, it may head off any problems before they can even get started. JMO. :)
