I've bought all of my dolls from ebay (until now, I've only been a member for a couple of days). But they haven't all been bad, you just need to scout for a while until you find a good deal. Which can take aaaages.

I've been lucky though, I haven't had a single bad experience with ebay sellers (regarding dolls anyway), though I've seen from my lurking on here that there are quite a few people that have... I bought a sealed Blue Eggy for only $85 yesterday, but the seller seems like a good guy, he gave me a refund on my overpaid shipping so I'm hopeful it's as perfect as my current one. I also won my sealed Resurrection Sybil Variant in an ebay auction about a year ago for around $640, which I was pretty pleased with.

Have seen a few OUTRAGEOUS prices though. I've noticed on the Facebook page, everyone swears by sullenToys to buy there dolls (which judging from their ebay page, is VERY overpriced. But they're a business and they need to make a profit, I guess).

Sorry, I don't really know what the listed dolls would be worth, I just felt like contributing to conversation about ebay prices. ^_^

eBay prices are interesting. Some people list insanely high and don't sell, of course. Then there are those mysteries as to why an overpriced listing did sell.
Basically, I'd say that the correct price is the one that you'll pay.
Quick comment on Sullen Toys -- they do price high, but they are collectors themselves and take serious pride in their service. I also know that you can contact them to negotiate a deal in many cases.
