Re: Doll Price List II
I've checked this list at least ten times when I've been ready to buy. It is an essential tool for anyone who collects. Just my 2 cents.

Re: Doll Price List II
this list is really great and really useful, we all have been looking at it and I tremendously appreciated,
specially when the Doll Price list was never updated and just died off,
and No one asked Filthy to make it but he did it because he is awesome,
so, just because some random new person who spends so much says something, just ignore that person

Why thank you, I appreciate the over whelming awesome comments. I also did it because I do like this forum very much and I was trying to be nice and re-create what was already created. And I do update it time to time.
We've moved on past that little issue now we can go back to normal and as you said just ignore it.

Re: Doll Price List II
Coins I'm not sure to be truthful.
OKAY, So I added Res 5 Variants price's based on sell price divided by the 4 for there individual prices. As people sell them here IF they do I'll change the price range as for now it's a starting price. I'm sure people will list them on Ebay for $200 plus that's there not here in the morgue.

Just so you know, that orange Cheshire Cat is in the wrong place. The purple one is the variant and the orange one is the regular one.

Nope I'm right. The Purple Cheshire was an Hot Topic Exclusive and The Orange Cheshire Cat was sold on Mezco Direct that came with the Wonderland Variants.

^ Yeah...
This is very helpful though, now I'll know if I'm being ripped off (or just charged too much) for a certain doll. And, haha Nohell is really only worth $2 opened?

i sell on amazon, but sometimes they are the worst,
they put the highest prices on everything, for example some toys that usually go for 45-55
they are on amazon for 140, i know thats the price they could go for, but, is almost impossible that it would sell that much,
that happens on ebay but is the stores doing that and there are regular people selling, on amazon is usually the only price and only person selling, for the highest price imaginable

Yes way to much, but if you have the cash and you really wanna throw down almost 1,000 on 1 doll then go for it. I'd say also it will always depend on the seller and what there looking to get compared to what they will actually get.

Rose and Violet tend to go for fairly cheap. You can generally get them sealed for their original retail price of $25-30 per doll sealed. Open, I'd estimate $20 each.

Re: Doll Price List II
Thank you so much for your additions but this price list is based on Forum Sales only. E-bay and Store Sales is a whole different ball park. Again thank you.

Re: Doll Price List II
No harm done.
When buying from E-bay and other outlets it's all about chance.
I'd say off and on yes. Sometimes you'll find awesome deals here and other times maybe not depends each person. I wouldn't count on here for every doll but from time to time keep a look out.

sometimes Yes, it depends, a lot of times dolls are opened and used so they are sold cheaper here,
also, Ebay you have to pay fees and paypal fees, so the cost goes up because of that, that's I think one of the reasons why ebay or stores sometimes go a little bit up, the fees,
sometimes when a doll price is low in here it means the doll was sold with no coffin and no accessories, just the doll, or the condition not might be like new, sometimes boardies just need to sell their dolls fast, so is not that people give each other better deals here, is that no one has to pay fees and is easier

It really depends. There has to be a market for handmades in order for them to be worth a lot. And the last one that Sold wasn't nearly as much as I would have thought. So it's a case of why even sell her in the first place? But if you want a value I'd say $500-$800 Depending how much some is willing to spend. Higher end I'd $1,000 but that's just out right insane. Hope that helps a little.

May need to bump up Lydia a few. I just paid $50 for her from a member and that was the cheapest price I could find, as most members wanted about $75 for her

No offense to filthy or anybody who has contributed to this list- I totally respect and appreciate the time and effort that went into compiling it- but I think that these prices need some serious regulation. Although I'm sure people have paid that little or that much, many of the prices are way off- I may be a new member, but am a faithful, obsessive eBay stalker.

If you read through the other posts, you'll see that the prices listed aren't based on ebay prices, as they're often inflated by people who are out to make a buck. They're based on typical forum prices, which you'll find are usually much lower than the typical ebay prices. I thought the same thing when I first signed up to the forum, but quickly realised the difference between an ebay asking price and a forum selling price. The list might be a little out of date in some areas, but not by much.

I do see this trend, and I do agreed that eBay prices are inflated, but some of these prices are still way more than what is being sold on eBay!

I adjust the prices when I can based on sales here. But most of the time it's within the between. I'd never base any doll off E-bay on price. Reason is because it's always going to fluctuate.

The prices have nothing to do with Ebay like people have stated in previous posts. People buy dolls from other forum members and submit what they paid for them. Some of the prices may seem low and some of the prices may seem high, but it doesn't matter . . .because it's what they paid for the doll. It's just for reference and people work hard to keep up on the list, which is appreciated by many forum members.

Updated. Went through updated a few Res Dolls and added prices where I could.
Also added on the top of the Page the Disclaimer about E-bay prices since that seems to come up a lot.

Thank you! Well at some point in the forums history it must have but then again If I put $100 -$300 well then people would go crazy. So I agree yes the price may seem a little off but remember it's a starting point doesn't mean someone will sell her for $50 sealed but open and maybe missing something yeah so try and think of it like that. If I confused the heck out of ya I'm sorry.

Re: Doll Price List II
I've been updating the list and trying to fix some of the prices. I keep my eye on the morgue and adjust as often as I can. If I miss something please let me know as always.
List Updated as of 7/5.

Re: Doll Price List II
I think the Fashion Victims series 2 maybe should be updated, maybe? they are always around 25-30 now the lowest I've seen them, the highest in box is like 50-60

Re: Doll Price List II
A few suggestions- maybe adjust the series 18 variant prices... Lower minimums on Ember and Gabriella and lower maximums on all. A max of $75 or $80 is about right for Cala or Jingles, but the other 3 maybe have a max of more like in the $40-$60 range. (Gabby and Ember go cheap!) I also think the prices on both Xeros are a little high- maybe $30-$60 on the reg, $40-$80 on the variant... Just suggestions, though! And keep up the great work!

Re: Doll Price List II
(i am a year late responding to this but oh well XD)
i don't like shopping on Amazon at all. it seems like EVERYTHING is wat higher than on Ebay. although last year i found my Alice in Wonderland series on there for a fair price. it was only like 100 something for the whole set.
also, does it piss anyone else off when people are selling open dolls for the price as if they were sealed? it does me. of course it would depend on how rare the doll is. if it's a most wanted doll then i'm sure a lot collectors wouldn't mind paying high price for it sealed or open. but if it's a more popular doll then it's just annoying.

Re: Doll Price List II
One small suggestion if I may. I think the starting price for the LDD Dollies should be bumped up to $20. I recently acquired Lulu for $22, but most people's starting price is $20.00 at the lowest. Thanks for all the time you put into keeping up on the list!
